It’s budget time, help shape the 2026 budget!

Public engagement is key to building a budget that reflects the needs and priorities of our community.


The Budget is much more than dollars and cents. It impacts you everyday in the services you use, some without even realizing it. Each time you go for a walk, drive your vehicle, attend a festival, or visit the library, you are seeing your tax dollars at work.

The Budget explains how we will deliver quality services that meet our community’s needs. It is important that residents and businesses have an opportunity to provide feedback throughout the Budget process. This year, we’re offering a number of surveys to get feedback on specific portions of the budget process.

The 2025 Operating Budget was approved by City Council on February 3, 2025 and was ratified on February 10, 2025.


The 2025 Capital Budget was approved and ratified by Council in December.
