About SnowDay
This year’s SnowDay saw snow sculpting teams bring their vision of Thunder Bay’s 50th and Sports through the Ages to life through intricate snow sculptures. Congratulations to this year's people's choice award winner: ‘Waves of Thunder’ by Chad Charles Kirvan and Mary Jane MacDonald! The event also included many family fun activities such as snowshoeing, skating, ice slides, ice sculptures, interactive games, ice fishing, bannock over the fire, science experiments, crafts, music, and so much more.
