Help Shape the Future of Thunder Bay's Waterfront Trail
Thunder Bay’s Waterfront Trail is a key public asset that, while partially built, still requires work to be fully connected across the city, with goals that include improving public access and safety, restoring natural shoreline areas, completing missing segments, and involving the community in trail planning and stewardship.
Building the Waterfront Trail: International Trails Day Celebration
Join us on Saturday, June 7, 2025, at Prince Arthur’s Landing for Waterfront Trail Community Day, a community celebration and public engagement event hosted in honour of International Trails Day. Thunder Bay is proud to be 1 of only 13 locations across Canada selected by the Trans Canada Trail to highlight this national celebration.
This is more than a celebration, it’s a chance to come together and shape the future of Thunder Bay’s Waterfront Trail. Help us build a greener, more connected, and accessible trail for everyone.
