Public Information Session
TUESDAY FEBRUARY 13, 2024, 7:00 – 9:00 pm
City Hall – McNaughton Room, 3rd Floor.
Purpose of Meeting:
- Inform the community of the proposed amendments to the Building Permit Fee schedule.
- Provide an opportunity for interested parties to express their opinion regarding the amendments.
- Gather community input to assist in evaluation of the amendments.
Purpose of Amendments:
- Building Permit Fees have not changed since 2017 and approximately 13 years prior to 2017.
- To offset increased costs to Building Services for the administration and enforcement of the Building Code Act and for the delivery of services to the community.
- To remain consistent with major municipalities of comparable size in Ontario.
