Home Energy Improvement Loan Program (HEILP) Design Survey

The City of Thunder Bay is designing a loan program to help residents conduct renovations that improve in-home energy use. 

Public input is needed to help determine homeowners' energy use, their experience with energy improvements, the main obstacles they face when increasing the energy efficiency of their dwellings, and ideas on how the City can better support these projects. The feedback survey is open until January 31, 2025.
