About the Strategic Plan
The new Maamawe, Growing Together Strategic Planguides the City’s direction for the next five years. City Council’s Plan was developed through in-depth research and guided by community needs to improve our quality of life.
We will improve the quality of life for people in Thunder Bay through tangible gains in:
Truth and Reconciliation
Safety and Well-being
Growth
Sustainability
We are now developing an action plan to achieve this direction and welcome your ideas. Input from the community will be evaluated alongside actions developed by City Administration to create an action plan for the next four years.
Pubic Engagement
An online survey was open for community input from Complete the community survey online Aug. 8 - 31, 2023.
Hard copy surveys were also made available at City Hall and branches of the Thunder Bay Public Library.
