April 2023 - Urban Systems, an interdisciplinary consulting firm was retained by the City of Thunder Bay to prepare a downtown revitalization strategy to guide the renewal of Downtown Fort William. This strategy will come into play once Victoriaville Centre is demolished, and a streetscape constructed and reopened in 2025.
The strategy was created with the Downtown Fort William Revitalization Advisory Committee, which identifies a vision, has actions and opportunities and shows how the strategy can be put into action over the short, medium and long term.
